It was a stress-free wedding; the team has done everything smoothly. It was our first time at the Calvary Temple and the ceremony went on well. Due to bad weather after the ceremony, however, we were not able to push through the short pictorial of the couple we were planning then at the BJMP since our groom is a jail officer. It was something fun and different then if the weather just permitted us. Nevertheless, we had our own share of fun and satisfaction working with our lovely couple. Best Wishes to both of you Eugene and Roena! On the SDE, spot the “attention-grabbing” kiss of the bride… it was striking and endearing!

Perhaps, the biggest wedding so far this year considering different factors: the intricacy of the various preparations for this one-of-a-kind “peacock- themed” wedding event, the number of guests reaching more than 800, the general scope of the venue in terms of the decorations both for the ceremony and reception and most especially the risk we all took for deciding an outdoor venue for a big event like this. Thank God, it did not rain ‘coz otherwise, we couldn’t imagine how things will be going.

Days, prior to the big event, we were all worried because there was news of a typhoon hitting Negros. Four days before the event, the Clay Wedding Set-up team started the venue decorations days before the wedding day, not to mention the rain showers and the strong winds blowing, they experienced during the set-up.

The “peacock” does say it all. It was really a unique wedding with such theme. From smallest details to big details, everything was creatively coordinated with peacock accents.

Among the highlights of the wedding were the garden aisle during the ceremony, the peacock-inspired bridal gown by Kelly Cuachon, the bridal bouquet of yellow cymbidium orchids accented with violet Parisian feathers, the big colorful peacock replica where the newly-wed couple sat during the reception and of course our Same Day Edit.

This is our first wedding in a newly renovated Resort by the Sea, formerly known as the Spa by the Sea in Talisay City. Beautiful seaside view and wonderful setup by Ms. Clay Tan, Thank you madam. Weather was so warm that we finished a lot of bottled water before the wedding even started.

Right before the wedding started, it rained hard for 15 minutes. It took a little while to get the wedding ceremony started, because of the adjust of setup and arrangement. Just as the entourage started to march another sign of the rain. Just after the bride marched in, it rained so hard that they relocated the wedding ceremony to the reception area. Praise God for blessings and for the backup setup.

I’m blogging this is Palmas Del Mar Resort. Thank God for another booking. Although I’m so sick today, we were able to pull it through. To God be the glory.

When we arrived in the preparation area, details and other stuff were all missing. No coordinators and all is very hard for us. We don’t have someone to look for the details, flowers and etc.

It even rained before the wedding started. About an hour before the wedding ceremony. Blessings from above maybe? Good thing the rain stopped. All outdoor arrangement in Palmas Del Mar Resort as they don’t have a backup setup.
